Statement of Beliefs

We believe:

Creation
There is only one true God, who is the Creator of all and the source of all good. God is good all the time.
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." - Genesis 1:1
"God saw all that he had made, and it was very good." - Genesis 1:31

Trinity
God is one being who exists in three persons: the Father, His Only Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.

Sin Separated us from God
Mankind became separated from God when the first Adam disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden. This separation from God caused death on three levels: spiritual death - loss of spiritual communion with God (spirit), emotional/mental death - shame/believing lies (soul), and physical death (body).

God is good all the time. There is no evil in Him. He created man with free will to accept or reject Him. Consequences of man’s free will creates sickness, disease, and bondage, not God’s punishment.

Salvation through Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He is 100% God, and He is 100% man.

Jesus was the perfect and final sacrifice Who bore the punishment for our sins on the cross, died, was buried, and was resurrected. He is alive today. Jesus Christ came to redeem the whole person: spirit, soul, and body.

Our spirits come back into communion with God when we repent (turn away) from our sins, believe that the blood of Jesus cleanses us from our sin, and accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord.

As we look to God for our acceptance and satisfaction, our emotions and thoughts are healed as we learn the Truth about who we are.

Jesus also showed great compassion for people through healing all kinds of physical ailments. He continues to show that same compassion as He heals through His followers today.

Jesus as our Example
Jesus is the only normal person who ever lived. He lived His life in complete communion with and obedience to the Father. He was empowered by the Holy Spirit to teach, perform miracles, and bring the Kingdom of Heaven to earth.

"As you go, preach this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is near.' Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." - Matthew 10:7-8
This command is for all believers, not to just some.
As John says, "Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did." - 1 John 2:6

Holy Spirit
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

While all believers receive the Holy Spirit at the time of conversion, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a separate encounter with God which may occur at or after the time of conversion. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit empowers believers for supernatural ministry and to be witnesses. In the New Testament, speaking in tongues accompanies the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Tongues as a personal prayer language is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and these gifts are available to every believer. (If you would like to know more about this sometimes controversial issue in the church, please contact us. We believe confusion on this issue has been a great tool of the enemy to divide believers, and we want no one turned away for lack of understanding the full impact of this gospel truth. The greatest lies the enemy has sold to the church is that this is not for today or not for all believers. The founder of this website has personally been on both sides of this issue.)

Second Coming of Christ
Jesus Christ will return visibly to take His Bride, the Church. All mankind will be resurrected. Believers in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will be resurrected to everlasting life with God, and unbelievers will be eternally separated from God.
